For Halloween, I will be traveling to my hometown of Madison, WI for "Freakfest 2009" on State Street. The annual Halloween celebration on State Street dates back the the 1970s and has become a Madison tradition and also is one of the largest Halloween parties in the country. In years past, city officials have estimated as many as 70,000 people dressed in costume show up every year to celebrate Halloween on State Street. This year multiple bands on numerous music stages will entertain the crowd. The most notable and well known band will be Third Eye Blind. The best thing about Halloween this year is that it falls on the day where Daylight Savings Time ends. So, at 2 a.m. the clocks will turn back one hour. The best part about this is that Bar time will be extended for that one hour. HaHaHaHa. That is if I can make it that far as the day will already involve heavy drinking as the Wisconsin Badgers host Purdue earlier in the day at Camp Randall Stadium. More than likely will be attending a Keg Party on either Breese or Regent Street. Also, probably a good chance of being hungover from the night before as we will be attending a Badger Hockey game as they host New Hampshire at the Kohl Center. However, the best cure is just to keep on drinking. Hahahahahahaha. Hahahahahahahahahah. GO BADGERS!!! GO PACK BEAT THE VIKES!!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
