Bloomington.....IU vs. UW

This weekend I will be making the 2.5-3 hour drive to Bloomington, Indiana with Jmill to see the #21 Wisconsin Badgers(6-2) visit the Indiana Hoosiers(4-5) at IU Memorial Stadium. I am very excited as this will be the first time since I attended the 2005 Capital One Bowl in Orlando, Florida as the Badgers beat Auburn where I will see them play either on the road or at a neutral site again as opposed to Camp Randall Stadium at home. The trip should be a lot of fun. I want to make it to as many different sporting venues as I can throughout my life. Each stadium and the gameday atmosphere they offer are unique in its own way. Its fun to travel and take in the different  atmosphere and traditions of other schools or teams. I have heard a lot of great things about Bloomington being one of the best college towns in America and look forward to seeing it first-hand for myself. We will have to leave no later than 6 a.m. as we need to get their in time for the Badger Bash pre-game party. The game start is a Noon kickoff and the pre-game tailgate event starts at 9 a.m. Should be a lot of fun to tailgate and party with fellow Badger fans before the game at the Badger Bash which is a great deal: $15.00 all-u-can-eat Wisconsin tailgate favorites and beer. Hopefully the Badgers win big. In last years meeting, the Badgers rolled up 491 yards rushing en route to a 55-20 victory. I believe this year should be no different as the Badgers should have no trouble imposing their will on IU as Big-Ten Leading Rusher RB John Clay should have a big day. All-in-all should be another great college football Saturday. GO BUCKY!!!

Close game...I will take a conference road W...Final score was close, but they controlled the entire gm and were never in jeopardy of losing. RB John Clay had over 100 yards rushing in the first half but was held out the 2nd due to a concussion. Bloomington was in the middle of nowhere though, but very unique. If IU was not there, Bloomington would not be either. Real meaning of strictly a "college town"
